Deer Lake Winter Craft Festival – 2025

Vendors and visitors inside Shadbolt Centre, browsing artisan wares during the holidays

Embrace the warmth of the holiday season and support the arts in Burnaby at the Deer Lake Winter Craft Festival, an annual celebration of creativity, community and craftsmanship.

Friday, November 14th – 11am to 7pm
Saturday, November 15th – 10am to 5pm
Sunday, November 16th – 10am to 5pm

Running from November 14th to 16th, 2025, at the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts, this family-friendly festival is free to attend and features over fifty local artisans and makers offering unique, handcrafted goods perfect for holiday gifting. Shoppers will have the chance to meet the artists behind their favourite crafts, from jewelry and pottery to textile creations and holiday decor.

The festival features performances by local musicians and a craft table presented by BAC volunteers, where children can explore their creativity. Shoppers can also stop by the Burnaby Arts Council table to learn more about how to support our organization and enter a raffle, including gift cards, gift baskets, a spa treatment, and event tickets.

At the BAC, we’re inspired by the unique identity carved out by the Burnaby arts community, and we strive to amplify their stories. Proceeds from the Deer Lake Winter Festival support the BAC’s year-round efforts to promote and expand the arts throughout Burnaby.

Here’s a peak at last year’s festival!

The 2025 Winter Craft Festival is happening from November 14-16. Applications for vendors and artists are now closed.
