This much-loved annual exhibition brings together a vibrant selection of ceramic work by members of the Fraser Valley Potters Guild. The Fraser Valley Potters Guild is a non profit association which was formed in 1975 by a group of alumni of the Surrey Campus Ceramics Department of Douglas College who wished to continue the camaraderie and opportunities for professional development that had started in classes at the college.  Our guild moved to the present location at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, Surrey campus in the late 80’s and today we have well over a 100 members, from Yarrow to Richmond. Our members include a range of pottery enthusiasts, ceramics, and art teachers, professional ceramicists, student, and hobby potters who show their work nationally and internationally and include their work in public art commissions, community projects, and one person shows.

The FVPG hosts several exciting member events throughout the year including regular meetings with presentations, skill development workshops and Guest Lecturers, community outreach events and our Annual Juried Show.

Our Juried show encourages participation for all levels of expertise, from students to experienced potters…all are welcome and encouraged.  At least one piece will be selected from the entries submitted by our juror which this year is Debra Sloan. The juror offers a critic on the pots chosen and the ones not chosen to foster an educational component.  Our Juried show coincides with the 2026 Clay Symposium “How Hard Can It Be
