A LIVED TEMPORALITY

SARA FARIDAMIN

PAST EXHIBITION

A long-term photography project by emerging artist Sara Faridamin, ‘A Lived Temporality’ presents three series of photographs narrating the artist’s experiences of moving to three new cities by capturing images only through her apartment window. Recording and reflecting on a personal account of living and inhabiting spaces, Faridamin uses visual autoethnography methods to understand contemporary urban life. Through her practice, Faridamin explores the rhythm of mundane and repetitive activities in everyday life. Questioning the relation between time, space, and temporality, Faridamin documents space as social and alive.
