The exhibition is the culmination of efforts by artist members of ReVision the Art of ReCycling to express their concerns over our environmental emergency.
Curated by Ron Simmer, the show offers a wide spectrum of novel imaging and experimental juxtaposition in the form of sculpture, collage, installation and painting. The exhibition includes an interactive play zone involving whimsey and humour.
The works of 23 artists reflect the diverse approaches to upcycling waste materials in creating messages of engagement and hope. The theme of the exhibition is “Make Art Fun Again”, focussing on positive change by speaking out to shape opinions on the preservation of our natural environment.
