Burnaby Arts Council Special Event
Burnaby Summer Theatre
Traveling from park to park, playgrounds and recreation centers students from Vancouver's Studio 58 theatre program, sponsored by the Burnaby Arts Council, are set to create another new children's theatre performance as part of the Burnaby Summer Theatre Troupe.
Join Harriet in her wild quest through Everthere, a land where monsters enjoy afternoon tea, henchmen speak in laughter, and the fastest way to get from here to there is by climbing into your trusty old trunk!
When Harriet grabs a trinket off Grandpa's mantle she has no idea that she has just taken the first step on the adventure of her life. Hiding in what looks like an everyday trunk, Harriet discovers that there's more to Grandpa's house than what meets the eye. Before she knows it Harriet finds herself in Everthere, a land that will bring her new friends, immense challenges, and teach her what it means to be the ultimate hero.
Five students from the Studio 58 theatre program comprise this year's Burnaby Summer Theatre Troupe: Artistic Director Rachel Aberle, Production Manager Ella Simon, and Actors Genevieve Fleming, Susie Coodin, and Rhys Finnick.
