At the Deer Lake Gallery April 26 to May 25
A Celebration of Spring and Arts & Culture Week
An exhibition of diverse art following the theme of spring.
Join the Arts Council Board of Directors and participating artists in the gallery for a special opening reception in honour of BC Arts and Culture week on Saturday, April 26, 2-4 p.m.
Entertainment will be provided.

Gary Liemen
Gary Liemen returns to the Deer Lake Gallery with his most recent work. The subjects may be portraits, landscapes, cityscapes, or florals but Gary Liemen uses a variety of brushes and unconventional materials including razor blades, sandpaper, sponges, etc. to create unique effects in his paintings. Opening Reception: May 31, 2 to 4pm.

Burnaby Celebrates BC 150
Burnaby's BC Arts 150 Performing & Visual Arts Festival will be presenting numerous exhibitions and performances from May 25 - 29, 2008. This will include the Burnaby 1x1, Short Film & Animation and Photographic exhibits as well as Performing Arts such as dance, music and vocal performances. Listen to the Music - May 31 & June 1

The Maple Leaf Singers production Listen to the Music celebrates 40 years of music, Saturday, May 31 and Sunday, June 1 at the Massey Theatre, 735 8th Ave, New Westminster. The show will entertain every taste with a fun mix of pop, Broadway, gospel, swing, ballads, classical and folk music!
